PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard and a personal computer that allow a user to easily and efficiently input Japanese even without having to learn how to input Roman characters. Ž
SOLUTION: As shown in Fig.1 as "Hiragana characters", characters of "a-line" and "ka-line" and the characters "ya", "yu", "yo" are arranged on the first line from the top, and characters of "sa-line", a "one-character deletion key", a "same-character input key", and characters of "ta-line" are arranged on the second line from the left in that order. Characters of "na-line" and "ha-line" and the characters "wa", and "wo, -" are arranged on the third line, and characters of "ma-line" and "ra-line" and the character "n" are arranged on the fourth line. Thus, since the character positions are arranged from left to right and from top line to bottom line, even beginners can easily understand. The "one-character deletion key" 1 is positioned at the center to facilitate correction even if there is a wrong input. The "same-character input key" 2 is used for cellphone-style character input when a character contained in the same button is displayed in succession. Ž
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
