<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan forced heater capable of preventing a heating operation from being stopped for a long time even if a save operation and a moderate operation are combined. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This fan forced heater comprises a target temperature setting section 40 for setting a temperature inputted from a set temperature switch 29 as an initial target temperature, a target combustion deciding section 46 for deciding a target combustion so that room temperature detected by a temperature sensor 13 coincides with a target temperature, a save operation setting section 41 for making the target temperature setting section 40 set the target temperature lowered by a prescribed temperature, when a prescribed time passes after the room temperature reaches the target temperature, and a moderate operation setting section 47 for limiting target combustion until the room temperature is lowered to an operation restarting temperature, when the room temperature becomes higher than the target temperature by a prescribed temperature or higher. When the moderate operation setting section 47 limits the target combustion, the target temperature setting section 40 does not set the lowered target temperature until the room temperature is lowered to the operation restarting temperature or lower.
