<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable warp knitted fabric forming an extension control region by a knitted structure without the need of using a patch or sewing a separate fabric together and without limiting the knitted structure of the fabric, and sufficiently controlling extension of warp and weft in the extension control region. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The stretchable warp knitted fabric includes partially the extension control region. Furthermore, the extension control region is obtained by shaking a first nonelastic yarn right and left alternately with a shaking width of 4-7 needles at an interval of one course and/or two courses, and by making a second nonelastic yarn form stitches and/or inserted without exceeding the range of 2 needles over the whole courses in the extension control region.
