PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to improve the reliability and photonic efficiency by forming a fluorescent substance coating layer having the same thickness of the LED chip while being separated from by a certain distance. CONSTITUTION: In a light emitting device and a method for fabricating the same, a first rinse layer(26a) is formed in order to cover an LED chip mounted on the bottom of a cavity. A fluorescent substance coating layer(26b) is formed on the first rinse layer by using an electrophoretic deposition. A second resin layer(26c) is formed on the fluorescent substance coating layer.
