PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high image quality and high compressibility of an electronic file using previously registered style information. SOLUTION: Image data is obtained and an object is extracted (S310-320). A plurality of pieces of registered style information of the object are retrieved, and it is determined whether an object considered to match with the former object is included in the registered style information (S330). When it is included, the object is selected as output style information (S340). An object determined not to be included in any piece of registered style information is selected as an output object (S350).
