<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent burning of a pixel due to a decrease defect. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A write transistor 210 writes a video signal from a data line 110 into a holding capacitor 230 according to a control signal from a scanning line 120. A drive transistor 220 supplies such a drive current to light emitting elements 240 and 340 according to the voltage written into a holding capacitor 230. The light emitting elements 240 and 340 emit light according to the magnitude of the drive current. When the light emitting element 340 turns to a decrease defect, the current supplied to the light emitting element 349 becomes excessive, and low fusing wiring 361 is fused by the excessive current. At this time, the driving current equal to the summation of the current supplied to the two light emitting elements which normally emit light is supplied to the light emitting element 240.
