<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact recording sensor capable of detecting and recording an impact, even when a packing box or an article stored in the box has any shape, or when the impact is applied to a box from any direction, only by disposing the sensor in the box. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This impact recording sensor 10 is constituted of a pressure-sensitive member 13 comprising a coloring agent capsule and a resin material formed by blending a development agent into a resin composition, a weight 15 whose periphery is surrounded three-dimentionally by the pressure-sensitive member 13, and a container 11 having a shape covering the pressure-sensitive member 13 from the outside. When the impact recording sensor 10 receives an impact, in any case where a relative moving direction of the weight 15 includes a displacement component in any direction of orthogonal triaxial directions, the pressure-sensitive member 13 is sandwiched between an inner wall of the container 11 and the weight 15 and compressed, and the coloring agent capsule is broken, and the pressure-sensitive member 13 develops color.
