<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for producing an organic acid, having higher practicality. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the organic acid includes bringing an organic acid-fermentation liquid formed by organic acid-producing microorganisms and containing non-dissociative organic acid into contact with a carbide material to allow the carbide material to adsorb the non-dissociative organic acid.
