PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver which easily views and listens broadcast programs which are viewed and listened usually, even if being in any area. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver includes a broadcast receiving portion 12 which receives broadcast signals, an operation control portion 20 which displays information about a broadcast signal to receive in a display portion 22, and controls the selective reception of the broadcast signal by an input operation portion 21 consisting of a plurality of channel select keys, and at the same time, forms preset data of a predetermined broadcast area. The operation control portion 20 includes a data table consisting of data about the broadcast area and data about the receivable broadcast station in the broadcast area, and the data table is constituted by being allocated a network system sequence number identifying the network system to which a broadcast station belongs for each broadcast station receivable in the broadcast area, referencing the preset data about the receivable broadcast station in the predetermined area and the data table thereof, the preset data about the receivable broadcast station in the area where it has moved is formed.
