The vehicle has a vehicle roof designed as a pre-mounted roof module (14) formed from a layer structure that represents a plastic molded part and manufactured in a molding tool. A core layer (32) of the structure is covered on both sides by covering layers (34, 36) from fiber-reinforced plastic. An isolation layer is provided with a coating (38) applied in the tool according to an In Mould Coating (IMC) procedure, during manufacturing of the structure. A cover element (42) is provided with a wear-protection layer. A rear window and/or side window is bonded on the roof.
