<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter which is a thin film and ensures high color purity, high luminance, and a high contrast ratio. <P>SOLUTION: A green colorant composition for a color filter includes at least a resin, a solvent, and a chlorinated copper phthalocyanine pigment, wherein the average number of chlorine atoms introduced into a molecule of the chlorinated copper phthalocyanine of the chlorinated copper phthalocyanine pigment is 15.1-16.0, and the green colorant composition includes a yellow pigment. Furthermore, the green colorant composition includes a pigment derivative which has sulfonic acid groups introduced into the copper phthalocyanine pigment wherein the average number of sulfonic acid groups introduced into a molecule of the pigment derivative is 1.9-2.4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
