摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment mechanism capable of carrying out advanced exhaust gas treatment. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas treatment mechanism 30 of an engine 20 comprises an exhaust tube 31 which is connected to the engine 20 and into which the exhaust gas from the engine 20 is introduced, a reduction catalyst 38 disposed in the exhaust tube 31, an oxidation catalyst 41 disposed in the exhaust tube 31 further on the downstream side than the reduction catalyst 38, and a path forming member 33 which forms an air supply path 34 disposed, along the reduction catalyst 38, from the portion of the exhaust tube 31 further on the upstream side where the reduction catalyst 38 is disposed to the portion thereof on the downstream side. The air supply path 34 allows air to be introduced from the portion thereof further on the upstream side than the reduction catalyst 38 and allows the introduced air to be supplied to the exhaust tube 31 at the portion thereof further on the downstream side than the reduction catalyst 38 and further on the upstream side than the oxidation catalyst 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
