<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus concerned with global environment, which enables its user to be convinced that he/she has committed to reducing greenhouse gas emission that accompanies power consumption, especially, by letting the user him/herself purchase consumable goods or replacement parts, and leads the user to join greenhouse gas emission reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus is configured as a printer, etc. that performs processing with attachment of a refill cartridge, which is replaceable in an apparatus body and affixed with information by which a greenhouse gas emission right accordance is identified. The electronic apparatus includes a consumable goods attachment support means that supports the refill cartridge in the apparatus body in an attachable/detachable manner, a reading means that reads identification information from the attached refill cartridge, an evaluating means that determines identification information accordance and evaluates greenhouse gas reductions by the apparatus body based on the identification information, and a displaying means that displays a result of evaluation by the evaluating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
