<p>A method of furnishing roadways, esp. aircraft runways, with a heated surfacing contg. hot pipes, consists of first applying epoxy resin combined with a reactive solvent as a penetrating preservative to the surfacing structure, then coating it with a material which adheres to this preservative, pref. an epoxy resin with a reactive solvent, then laying the pipes and bedding them in epoxy mortar. Preft. reactive solvents are styrene or monomeric ethyl glycidyl ether.</p> |
