<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a highly active electrode catalyst for a fuel cell replacing platinum and having high four-electron reduction performance. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the electrode catalyst for the fuel cell represented by RuX (X is at least one kind of chalcogen element) comprises carrying out heat treatment for 10 minutes to 5 hours at 400-600°C, preferably for 30 minutes to 2 hours at 480-520°C, after RuX composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
