<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience and reliability of guidance to a parking area and information display by displaying parking-status information of a complex parking area consisting of a plurality of parking areas of different structures in an easy-to-understand manner depending on each parking area. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device includes: a storage part for storing parking-area static information containing a parking area ID specific to each of the plurality of parking areas of different structures and position information of each parking area; a DSRC part 3 or an IP communication part for receiving parking-area dynamic information containing the parking area ID and vacancy information; a display part for displaying parking status marks of each parking area on a map display; a control part for determining whether the parking area corresponding to the received parking-area dynamic information is a part of the complex parking area with reference to the parking-area static information, and displaying, at the same display position on the map display, a parking status mark of the parking area determined to be a part of the complex parking area in a size and/or color depending on the vacancy information of each parking area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
