PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image composition system by which a user creates a good-looking design as well as a suitable design for a use, purpose in use or the like of composition results, even not having sufficient knowledge of designing. SOLUTION: In this image composition system, an image processing device 100 includes a processing rule registration DB 18 with image processing rules registered in association with purpose information, and a composition rule registration DB 22 with image composition rules registered therein. When information about a use, plan and other purposes of a composition result are input by a user, a composition rule is selected from the composition rule registration DB 22, and then a processing rule is selected from the processing rule registration DB 18 in association with the input purpose information. Then, a plurality of processed images are produced by processing a plurality of original images to be composed based on the selected processing rule, and a plurality of the processed images are composed based on a selected composition rule.
