PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretched film which can be obtained inexpensively, is relatively thin in thickness, is excellent in precision without any wrinkles and thickness unevenness, is small in a long-term dimension change, and is usable as an optical film excellent in the stability of optical characteristics, and to provide a retardation film and a composite optical member using the stretched film. SOLUTION: The stretched film is obtained by continuously obliquely-stretching a long-size unstretched film made of polypropylene based resin in a direction of 1-85°with respect to the width direction. The retardation based film made of the stretched film and the composite optical member using the retardation film are also provided.
