PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new inspection method using a solid supporter and utilizing an enzyme cycling method, and to provide an inspection kit usable therefor. SOLUTION: The method for detecting a material to be detected in a specimen by using a reagent composition R1, a reagent composition R2 and a reagent composition R3 containing the following components, and the solid supporter includes immobilizing the reagent composition R1 on the solid supporter to form a detector, feeding a mixture of the reagent composition R2 and the specimen to the solid supporter, and feeding the reagent composition R3 to the detector on the solid supporter to form a complex of (a material to be detected-capturing reagent)-(the material to be detected)-(an alkaliphosphatase labeled reagent) at the detector on the solid supporter, and then carrying out the enzyme cycling reaction at the detector, wherein the reagent composition R1 is a composition of a dehydrogenase and/or an electron transportation material, and a material to be detected-capturing reagent; the reagent composition R2 is a composition of an alkali phosphatase-labeled reagent obtained by labeling a material to be bonded to the material to be detected with an alkali phosphatase; and the reagent R3 is a composition of a dehydrogenase and an electron transportation material, not contained in the reagent composition R1, a substrate of the dehydrogenase, tetrazoleum and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP) or a reducing type thereof (NADPH).
