PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device which maintains its rotation detection accuracy even if the bearing device is made small-sized and lightweight. SOLUTION: A holding member 21 which configures a ring member 18 includes: a cylinder part 21a fixed to the outer circumferential surface of a support part 11a of an constant velocity joint 11; and a flange part 21b expanding from the axially outward end of the cylinder part 21a to the outside in the radial direction. Furthermore, an extension part 21c which extends to the vehicle body side in the axial direction from a surface 22c of a magnetized body 22 on the vehicle body side in the axial direction, is disposed at a region of the flange part 21b outside the magnetized body 22 in the radial direction. When a knuckle 17 is mounted on a fixing part 13b of a vehicle body side orbital member 13, even in such the risky case that the knuckle 17 tends to contact with the magnetized body 22, the knuckle 17 is prevented from contacting with the magnetized body 22, since the knuckle 17 contacts with the extension part 21c in advance.
