<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve wire insertion workability into a rubber sheet, in a waterproof connector equipped with the rubber sheet for sealing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A housing 11 of the waterproof connector 10 has a plurality of rows and columns of terminal container rooms 12. A rubber sheet for sealing 20 is arranged at a terminal insertion face side of the connector housing 11, and the rubber sheet for sealing 20 has a plurality of wire insertion through-holes 24 corresponding to the terminal container rooms 12 each of which 24 is set at a size fit to an outer periphery face of each wire 30. The rubber sheet 20 has an elastic material with a larger modulus of elasticity than a rubber sheet body 21 filled at sites facing at least a surface 21a at a wire insertion side either or both between the wire insertion through-holes 24 of each step of the rubber sheet body 21, and between the wire insertion through-holes of each row.
