<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine to be advantageous to a player by allowing the player to recognize a determination on whether right to generate a special opening/closing game is to be obtained or not. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The right to temporarily open a special variable winning device (50) is obtained based on the winning of a game ball in a start winning port (70). In this case, when a small-number special opening/closing game is selected, the remaining game times of an advantageous game is compared with a numerical value L. When the numerical value L is smaller than the remaining game times of the advantageous game as the result of the comparison, the player is announced that it is adequate to wait for the acquisition of the right to open the special variable winning device (50) next without acquiring the right to generate the special opening/closing game.
