PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing structure by which a closing operation of a housing is performed by one hand, and an electronic device. SOLUTION: In the housing structure having a reference side housing (22), and a moving side housing (21) which is arranged in contact with the reference side housing, and whose position is moved from a state for covering a main surface of the reference side housing to a state for exposing the main surface or to the inverse state, an operation means (28) which is positioned on the outside to be manually operated, a guide means (31) for guiding movement of the operation means, and an engagement means (28b) which is engaged with the moving side housing and follows the movement of the operation means are included, and position movement of the moving side housing is operated by transmitting the movement of the operation means to the moving side housing via the engagement means.
