The invention relates to a tool for installing an elastic belt (12) on at least two belt pulleys (11, 64) of a belt drive (13), having guides (38, 40, 46, 48) by means of which one or more parts of the belt (12) can be guided during installation, at least in segments, substantially parallel to the circumferential surface (44) of the belt pulley (11). The tool (10) has a substantially annular or partially annular contour, flexible at least within limits, that can be adapted to different diameters of belt pulleys (11), wherein the tool (10), preferably designed as a plastic molded part, can contact the circumferential surface (44) of the belt pulley (11), and can be fixed there by means of fixing means (54), preferably tightening means, for attaching the part of the belt to the belt pulley (11). |
