SIMULATION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING PERFORMANCE OF SPEECH RECOGNITION SERVER

PURPOSE: A simulation apparatus for evaluating performance of a voice recognition server and a method thereof are provided to perform simulation in consideration of network conditions as well as a voice recognition server. CONSTITUTION: A user selects a kind of a vocoder. A voice recognition request unit(401) transmits a voice sample and attribute information corresponding to the selected vocoder through a network to a voice recognition server(32). A voice recognition performance evaluation unit(402) receives a voice recognition result from the voice recognition server through the network. The voice recognition performance evaluation unit compares the received voice recognition result with corresponding data for verification. The voice recognition performance evaluation unit evaluates voice recognition performance of the voice recognition server.
