PRINTER AND PRINTER CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer enabling a user to easily know the occurrence of communication trouble between a print data transmitter and the printer.

SOLUTION: A determining means 42 determines whether communication trouble between the print data transmitter and the printer has occurred. A printing control means 44 performs a printout corresponding to the determined result of the determining means 42.
