PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit element of an oxidation-reduction catalyst for generating oxygen and hydrogen from water, in which hydrogen is produced from water at the temperature of the waste heat to be generated from an internal-combustion engine, a fuel cell, etc., namely, at the temperature of≤700°C so that the circuit element can contribute to not only the improvement of the efficiency of a power source but also the reduction of carbon dioxide.
SOLUTION: Such a circuit is manufactured that a catalyst for oxidizing water to generate oxygen, a hydrogen ion and an electron is put, in a nano-scale, close to another catalyst for reducing the hydrogen ion to generate hydrogen to perform an oxidation-reduction reaction continuously by using water as a raw material and the waste heat as the heat of reaction. The circuit is formed into an element-like shape to provide an extremely-compact and high-efficiency apparatus for producing hydrogen.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
|
