PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansible gunstock for a gun constituted to surely fix a gunstock rear body to a gunstock front body by a simple constitution even if an impact caused by the fall or the like of the gun is repeated. SOLUTION: An insertion rod 16 has a plurality of pin fitting holes 24 at longitudinal spaces, and an engaging pin 11 engaged with the pin fitting holes 24 is fittingly inserted into a pinhole 9 formed at the gunstock front body 2. The engaging pin 11 is movable by a lever member 28 provided at the gunstock front body 2, and the operation of the lever member 28 causes the engaging pin 11 to be engaged with and detached from the pin fitting hole 24 of the insertion rod 16 inserted by a predetermined quantity into a fitting insertion hole 4 of the gunstock front body 2.
