PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation resistance meter capable of preventing a read error of a resistance value indicated at an indication meter. SOLUTION: The insulation resistance meter includes: the indication meter 2 indicating a resistance value by rotating an indicator by a rotation quantity that is larger as the current values of indication currents Ii1, Ii2 are larger; a high resistance measurement part 3 causing the indication meter 2 to indicate the resistance value by outputting the indication current Ii1 in accordance with the resistance value of a measurement object 200 of high resistance; and a low resistance measurement part 4 causing the indication meter 2 to indicate the resistance value by outputting the indication current Ii2 in accordance with the resistance value of a measurement object 200 of low resistance. The high resistance measurement part 3 and the low resistance measurement part 4 output the indication currents Ii1, Ii2 for current values that are larger as the resistance value of the measurement object 200 is smaller.
