<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flash apparatus and a camera provided with the same, which carry out more appropriate adjustment of a light distribution field angle. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic flash apparatus (10) determines the light distribution field angle according to a focal length of a photographic lens (40) and a photographic range on an imaging surface.
