<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a liquid crystal display easily in high yield while the amount of a liquid crystal to be dropped is measured precisely and controlled by a drop injection method, a liquid crystal material most suitable for the drop injection method is used so as to decrease the viscosity thereof and accelerate the response speed, particularly that of a halftone zone. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the liquid crystal display apparatus includes the steps of: applying a sealing agent 21 to the periphery of an image display area to be arranged on one 22 of a pair of substrates to form a frame pattern; dropping the liquid crystal in the frame pattern; sticking the substrates to each other; and curing the sealing agent 21.
