摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining occurrence risk of adverse effects of irinotecan which detects genetic polymorphism in a TATA box in the promoter region of glucuronosyltransferase (UGT) gene in high precision and obtains a determined result with high reliability. SOLUTION: The method for determining occurrence risk of adverse effects of irinotecan includes, in a nucleic acid hybridization reaction of an amplified nucleic acid obtained by an amplification reaction using a genome DNA derived from a living body sample of subject as a template, a first nucleic acid probe selected from a nucleic acid probe composed of a specific base sequence and/or a nucleic acid probe composed of a base sequence complementary to it and a second nucleic acid probe selected from a nucleic acid probe composed of a nucleic acid probe composed of a specific base sequence different from the base sequence of the first nucleic acid probe and/or a nucleic acid probe composed of a base sequence complementary to it, measuring the ratio of the amount of amplified nucleic acid hybridized with the first nucleic acid probe to that of the amount of amplified nucleic acid hybridized with the second nucleic acid probe.
