摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a refrigerating cycle apparatus capable of appropriately controlling the filling amount of a refrigerant (corresponding to a combustible refrigerant) having a small coefficient of global warming. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The refrigerating cycle apparatus 100 is provided with a compressor 1, a four-way valve 2, an outdoor unit heat exchanger 5, a flow control valve 6, an indoor unit heat exchanger 7 and a circulation piping system 25 forming a main circuit by sequentially connecting the compressor, the four-way valve, the outdoor unit heat exchanger, the flow control valve and the indoor unit heat exchanger. A circulation on-off valve V25 is installed in the circulation piping system and a storage pipe 28 is connected to the circulation piping system. A storage on-off valve V28 is installed in the storage pipe 28, and a refrigerant reservoir 8 is connected to the tip of the storage pipe. A supply pipe 98 for supplying a refrigerant from a section other than the main circuit is connected to the refrigerant reservoir 8. A supply on-off valve V98 is installed in the supply pipe 98, and a refrigerant supply port 9 is formed at the tip of the supply pipe. Until a storage amount detection means 11 installed in the refrigerant reservoir 8 detects a refrigerant amount, a predetermined amount of the refrigerant in the main circuit is stored in the refrigerant reservoir 8 by operating the compressor 1.
