PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a managed device, a trap transmission destination setting method, and a trap transmission destination setting program, for making it unnecessary to perform the setting operation of trap transmission destination in network management to be performed by using an SNMP between a management device and the managed device. SOLUTION: The managed device 10 includes: a trap transmission means 302 for transmitting a broadcast trap requiring response confirmation on a network when trap transmission destination setting information is required; an extraction means 303 for extracting trap transmission destination setting information to a management device 1 from the packet of response confirmation responded by the management device 1; and a registration means 304 for registering the management device 1 which has performed response confirmation as a management device by which the managed device should be managed, together with the trap transmission destination setting information, wherein the registered management device is set as the transmission destination of trap to be transmitted when an event occurs.
