PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a discharging work while performing a mown grass-discharging work smoothly, and also a mulching work while performing mown grass-chopping in a good accuracy as simple operations in a grass mower having grass-mowing blades capable of freely drive-rotating around a shaft core facing in the vertical direction of a blade housing and positioning side by side in the transverse direction of the grass-mowing blade housing, at the inside of the grass-mowing blade housing and equipped with a mown grass-discharging port installed at the upper position of a part where a pair of grass-mowing chambers adjacent to the blade housing are communicated. SOLUTION: This grass mower is equipped with a lid body 60 for opening and closing the mown grass-discharging port 29. The lid body 60 is equipped with a posterior part baffle plate 63. The baffle plate 63, in a state that the lid body 60 closes the mown grass-discharging port 29, forms the posterior side wall 28a of a pair of mowing chambers 28, 28 by positioning at the posterior side of the grass-mowing blade 26 performing the grass-mowing in the adjacent pair of grass-mowing chambers 28, 28.
