SOLUTION: This driving force distribution control device 26 includes clutches C1, C2, the engagement states of which are controlled by oil pressure, wherein the distribution of driving force to a pair of right and left rear wheels 30 is controlled through the clutches C1, C2, according to an electric command, the opened and closed state is controlled, and the device includes oil pressure retaining valves 68, 70 for retaining the oil pressure in the clutches C1, C2 in the closed state, and a driving force distribution controller 34 for outputting a command to control the opened and closed state of the oil pressure retaining valves 68, 70 according to the running state of the vehicle. Thus, when the engagement of the clutches C1, C2 is maintained, the oil pressure retaining valves 68, 70 are put in the closing state to restrain consumption loss of oil pressure.
