<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly ingenious coin bank which is simple in structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The coin bank is provided with a coin receiving case, a shell body which covers the coin receiving case to keep freely swingable with respect to the coin receiving case and can be in an upright position and in an inclined position by its swinging and a coin putting part which is arranged on the shell body and in which a slot for dropping coins and a coin release for discharging the coins put into the slot are formed. The shell body is so constructed that it moves into the inclined position by the weight of coins when it is forced to take the upright position and a predetermined number of coins are dropped into the coin putting part. The coin receiving case is provided with a coin dropping opening which is opposed to the coin release and allows the coins in the coin putting part to fall down into the coin receiving case by their weight when the shell body is switched to the inclined position.
