<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display for enhancing image quality by forming a pixel electrode without being affected by a semiconductor layer, while provided with the semiconductor layer divided by film formation on a partitioning wall and patterned finely. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This display formed arrayedly, on a substrate 3, with a thin film transistor Tr and a transparent pixel electrode 23 connected thereto, includes an insulating partitioning layer 15, on the substrate 3 formed with a source/drain 13sd of the thin film transistor, and the partitioning layer includes the first opening 15a in a position corresponding to a channel part of the thin film transistor, and includes the second opening 15b in a position corresponding to a forming area of the transparent pixel electrode. The first opening bottom part includes a channel part semiconductor layer 17ch constituting an active layer of the thin film transistor, and the semiconductor layer 17 of the second opening bottom part is removed. The transparent pixel electrode 23 is provided overlappedly with the second opening, on an insulating film 21 for covering an upper side of the substrate formed with the partitioning layer and the semiconductor layer 17.
