<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fuel from flowing out caused by cutting a hose. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A fuel feeding apparatus is provided with an emergency stopping detecting means 40 for detecting that a wire 23 of a retractor mechanism 16 supporting a fuel feeding hose 19 is pulled downward by a tensile force with a specified value or higher. When an operator strongly pulls the fuel feeding hose 19 in an emergency during feeding the fuel, the emergency stopping detecting means 40 detects that the wire 23 is pulled downward by a tensile force with the specified value or higher and outputs its detected signal. The tensile force detected by the emergency stopping detecting means 40 is set to be a weaker force than a separating force for performing a separating operation of a safety joint 60 of the fuel feeding hose 19.
