Compounds of the formul <FORM:0816882/III/1> and <FORM:0816882/III/2> are referred to for use in bleaching and disinfecting compositions.ALSO:Bleaching compositions comprise dichlorocyanuric acid or trichlorocyanuric acid and a salt mixture obtained by drying, e.g. spray drying, an aqueous slurry of an alkali-metal silicate and one or more water-soluble alkali-metal salts selected from: phosphate, sulphate, carbonate or chloride. The compositions may also comprise sodium tripolyphosphate, sodium sesquicarbonate, alkali-metal lauryl sulphates, alkyl aryl sulphonates, optical dyes, perfumes or de-dusting agents.ALSO:Disinfecting compositions comprise dichloro-cyanuric acid or trichlorocyanuric acid and a salt mixture obtained by drying, e.g. spray drying, an aqueous slurry of an alkali metal silicate and one or more water-soluble alkali-metal salts selected from: phosphate, sulphate, carbonate or chloride.
