<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular anion exchanger having sufficient ion exchange quantity, mechanical strength and chemical stability, and exhibiting a high adsorption rate of ionic species. <P>SOLUTION: In this granular anion exchanger, a substituent having a structure represented by general formula (I), wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a 1-20C alkyl group, R<SP>2</SP>is a 1-8C alkylene group, and X is a halogen atom, is introduced into a granular cellulose base material principally consisting of cellulose having the crystallinity of 80% or more, and the ion exchange quantity is 1.5 mmol/g or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
