<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that displays a conversion candidate with user-friendliness, based on input character string, and that reduces selection operation. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: an input means 61 for receiving the input of the character string representing the reading of words; a display means 20; a clause pause means 51 for determining whether the character string receiving the input includes a pause of clause, and for acquiring the character string representing the front clause and a character string representing the back clause, when there is an end of clause; a co-occurrence information storage means 54, in which a pair of clauses having collocations is associated with the character string representing the reading and stored therein; a co-occurrence information retrieval means 52 for retrieving a co-occurrence conversion candidate consisting of a pair of clauses having the collocations, which is associated with the character string representing the front and back clauses acquired by the clause pause means, from the co-occurrence information storage means; and a display control means 33 for individually and associatively displaying the clauses corresponding to the front and back clauses, as the co-occurrence conversion candidate retrieved by the co-occurrence information retrieval means 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
