<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial waste management system and method using an industrial waste transaction pattern code as a key as a notification means saving any trouble since it is time-consuming for a discharge enterpriser being the subscriber of an electronic manifest to notify an undertaker of the content of notification related with the processing of wastes put in the undertaker's charge. <P>SOLUTION: A discharge enterpriser notifies an undertaker of an industrial waste transaction pattern code, and the undertaker confirms the content of notification related with the processing of industrial wastes with which the undertaker is entrusted by using the code as a key by a terminal, and a collection conveyance undertaker issues an industrial waste transaction pattern slip describing the code by an industrial waste transaction pattern slip issuing means.
