PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor for improving the convenience in handling a failure, preparing an operation manual of an apparatus, or the like, by appropriately determining a situation where a screen capture function is available and acquiring the copy of the operation screen. SOLUTION: This information processor includes a display device for displaying the operation screen, a device state detecting means for detecting the operation state of each of a network interface, a user interface, the display device, a storage device, and a controller, an operation screen capturing means for acquiring information about the operation screen that is displayed on the display device and corresponds to each operation state, and a determining means for determining whether the information about the operation screen can be acquired by the operation screen capturing means based on the operation state.
