<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight controlling device of a vehicle capable of illuminating a direction in which an occupant is gazing with a headlight. <P>SOLUTION: The headlight controlling device includes a gaze direction detection means (S4) for detecting a gaze direction of a driver, a gaze state determination means (S5) for determining whether the driver is in a gaze state based on a change of the gaze direction detected by the gaze direction detection means, and an illumination direction change control means (S12) for controlling an illumination direction of the headlight by changing it from a direction controlled by illumination direction control means (S10, S11) that performs a control based on predetermined information to the gaze direction detected by the gaze direction detection means when the gaze state determination means determines that the driver is in the gaze state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
