PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack capable of improving safety of one equipped with output terminals outside a case housing a plurality of battery modules connected to each other. SOLUTION: The battery pack 1 is provided with a plurality of battery modules 2A to 2D connected with each other to function as one power source, a case 3 housing the battery modules, and a pair of output terminals 4A, 4B by way of a cathode and an anode of the above power source, provided outside the case. Here, at least at either a module interconnection means connecting each of the plurality of modules with the other inside the case or a module-to-output terminal interconnection means connecting the battery module with the pair of output terminals inside the case, a current breaking means 6 is provided capable of changing over between an operating state and a non-operating state.
