PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method, a treatment material and a treatment apparatus of heavy metal contaminated water which can satisfactorily clean heavy metal contaminated water while reducing material cost, and to provide a treatment method, a treatment material and a treatment apparatus for arsenic-contaminated water. SOLUTION: In the treatment method for heavy metal contaminated water for cleaning the heavy metal contaminated water contaminated with heavy metal, the heavy metal contaminated water is allowed to pass through a mixed material of iron powder and consolidated clay.
