<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is excellent in long-term reliability and productivity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery wherein a positive electrode and a negative electrode are laminated via a separator and are wound in a spiral shape, and a winding-up electrode body where length of the longest diameter is two times or more of the length of the shortest diameter is provided on a vertical cross-section in a winding-axis direction, a thin film formed by a collected body of a fiber-like polymer compound and possibly circulating a nonaqueous electrolyte is fixed at least on one end face of the winding-up electrode body by an adhesive tape or an adhesive.
