PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a volume hologram laminate configured to easily and thermally press-bond a hologram transfer foil to a medium to be transferred without causing burrs, and to provide a hologram thermal transfer device. SOLUTION: The hologram thermal transfer device 50 includes a heat roller 11 that holds the hologram transfer foil 18 and the medium 14 to be transferred together with a receiving roller 10, for thermally press-bonding the hologram transfer layer of the hologram transfer foil 18 to the medium 14 to be transferred. A peeling roller 16 for peeling the base material of the hologram transfer foil 18 from the hologram transfer layer and separating the hologram transfer layer thermally press-bonded to the medium 14 from a hologram transfer layer not thermally press-bonded to the medium 14 is disposed on the downstream side of the receiving roller 10 and the heating roller 11. A cutting mechanism 19 for forming a cut part 30 so that it may extend from the hologram transfer layer side of the hologram transfer foil 18 toward the base material and the base material may be left is disposed between the receiving roller 10 and the heating roller 11, and the peeling roller 16.
