PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement vector detector for detecting a movement vector of a three-dimensional direction (interior direction). SOLUTION: The movement vector detector for detecting the movement vector by using a distance image includes: a distance image generating means for generating the distance image in which a pixel value is a distance value up to a ranging object at each timing by using an imaging element; and a first vector calculating means for calculating the movement vector of the interior direction of a specific ranging object based on a distance value up to the specific ranging object included in two distance images generated at different timing with the distance image generating means respectively and respective positions in the two distance images of the specific ranging object.
